TRIADICS FIFTH REUNION
BRANSON, MISSOURI JUNE 2019
Twelve members of Texas Gulf Coast Trikers attended the fifth annual Triadics Reunion in West Branson, Missouri. In spite of major flooding throughout Arkansas, everyone made it there safely & participated in several rides through the Ozark mountains, which are known to offer some of the best motorcycle rides in America, with lots of switchbacks & roller coaster hills. Michael & Cindy Wisdom won a first place trophy for Women's Choice in a trike show held in the Walmart parking lot, with random shoppers choosing the winners. The reunion was held at Treehouse Adventures, which has speed bumps all over the campground & creates a challenge for trikers to avoid damaging their trikes. Everyone loved the Peel Ferry ride, as well as lunch at the Dinner Bell Restaurant located less than half a mile from the ferry landing. A fun night was had on the Branson Belle, which provides a dinner show while riding around Table Rock Lake. A trip was scheduled to Mount Vernon to give rides to retired veterans living in the Missouri Veteran's Home, but thunderstorms prevented it. Jim & Lady provided a tasty breakfast one morning & everyone enjoyed a great chicken dinner from Walmart the last night of the reunion. John announced that Triadics membership has tripled to over a thousand since he took the reins last October. Sandy Hall had a very close call when he lost control of his trike on the way back home to Texas. He had installed a trailer hitch on his trike and had been very dissatisfied with it until it dug into the ground & prevented him from going into a deep ravine. Paramedics were required when the trike pinned him underneath it, but he was not seriously injured & says that his trike damage was much better than a physical injury.
