Golden Triangle Trikers

Hello from Orange, Texas

The Golden Triangle Trikers are very happy to welcome Dale Carter as Branch Leader of Golden Triangle Trikers. Dale was one of the founders of the group and is familiar with the favorite restaurants for meet & greets, as well as the best places to ride. Anyone with a love for trikes is invited to attend get togethers, which will be posted on the Triadics Facebook page, Trike Talk and/or the printable newsletter. If anyone is ever planning to be in the Golden Triangle area, (Beaumont, Port Arthur, Orange or surrounding area) send Dale an e-mail at bluepeepers50@gmail.com or call 409-768-5011 and leave a message.

Everyone is invited to join Texas Gulf Coast Trikers at our regular monthly gathering at I-HOP (highway 146 & FM2094) in Kemah for dinner at 5:30 pm or meeting at 6 pm the first Friday of the month. Kemah is about halfway between Houston & Galveston and is famous for The Boardwalk, which has great food, a fun amusement park and lots of free entertainment. Our invitation also includes any rides or other group events in the future.

Members of Texas Gulf Coast Trikers are still going out for lunch and a movie every Tuesday. First-run movies for $.50 and an all-you-can-eat buffet at Golden Corral for $7.59 is a pretty good way to spend an entire afternoon with our Triadics branch. Anyone who wishes to join us is welcome and we are always open to suggestion for other places to eat before the movie.

We would like to wish a happy summer to our entire Triadics family all over the country.  We are praying that everyone will get to ride more in 2017.

With a heavy heart, we report the loss of our Branch Leader of both Golden Triangle Trikers & Texas Gulf Coast Trikers. Jim Waldrep "Outlaw" waged a valiant fight against mesothelioma with surgery, chemo & radiation for over a year before losing the battle. A memorial is being held in his honor at Northpoint Baptist Church, 25th Avenue North at 28th Street North in Texas City on Saturday, July 1 at 10:30 am. Members from Golden Triangle Trikers & Texas Gulf Coast Trikers did a memorial ride from Noah's Ark in Bacliff, where monthly meetings were held for many years.

Salem Oregon Triadics

The main news from Salem, OR is that Nancy Crawford hosted a lovely Celebration of Life in honor of her husband, Myron Crawford, on June 3rd.  Lots of Triadics attended, as well as family from as far away as WA.  It was held in a beautiful park and the weather held off any rain.  People were

pleased to gather and to remember Myron together.  Wally and Marsha are still (!) in CA working on a house remodel.  They hope to wrap it up soon and return 600 miles to Salem and to their trikes.

Happy and safe triking to everyone.
